ABOUT

Asterix SA Z’s pedigree is one for the books, boasting elastic movement, a powerful canter, and unwavering focus – all traits inherited from his winning lineage.

His dam, Oh d’Eole (1.60m), was a star of the LGCT circuit, competing at the highest levels for years under renowned Olympians like McLain Ward, Kevin Staut, and Gregory Wathelet. Known as one of the fastest horses on the circuit, Oh d’Eole claimed Grand Prix victories worldwide, including back-to-back wins in Shanghai (with different riders), and triumphs in Lyon, Bourg-en-Bresse, Barcelona, Magna Racino, and Spruce Meadows. Her damline is equally impressive, producing multiple 1.60m competitors such as Noble des Bruyeres (1.60m), Jiva (1.60m), and Ambrisio d'Alcy (1.60m).

On the sire side, Aganix du Seigneur Z (1.60m) was one of Jos Lansink’s greatest prospects before an injury shifted his focus solely to breeding. As a son of Ogano Sitte (1.60m) – himself a product of the Olympic mare Gute Sitte (1.60m) – Aganix has produced numerous top performers. His offspring include Agana van het Gerendal Z (1.60m), ridden by Lillie Keenan; Pieter Clemens’s Akarad Hero Z (1.60m); Ayade Hero Z (1.60m); and Attoucha Hero Z (1.60m), ridden by Paris Sellon, all of whom are making their mark on the international circuit.

Asterix SA Z is an embodiment of his stellar pedigree, combining speed, agility, and jumping talent – a young prospect poised to continue the legacy of his champion lineage in the sport of showjumping.
