What is the transportation process of my purchased horse?
After your purchase we offer to arrange the transportation through our long-term partner
Horse Trans Cargo, the biggest transportation company in the region. You just have to give the destination address and pay for the transportation itself, we don't charge any extra administration cost.
If you wish, you can always organise the transportation yourself.
Do I have to pay VAT?
If you buy your horse with a company that has a valid EU VAT number, you don't have to pay VAT. If you are buying as a private person, you are required to pay the general VAT rate of Hungary, which is 27%.
If I buy an implanted embryo, do I have to pay a deposit for the recipient mare?
No, we don't require you to pay a deposit fee, but you are required to rent out the recipient mare for a rental fee of €3000. This applies if you decide to leave the mare with us until foaling (and weaning of the foal) as well as if you decide to bring the recipient mare to your place.
Where is Scuderia SA located?
Our stable is located in Hungary, near the capital city Budapest. Budapest is easily accessible by plane in 2-3 hours from most major cities of Europe. Our home, Tök, is just over half an hour drive from the airport.
Can I visit the stable before the auction takes place?
We usually host an Open Week after the auction collection is revealed. This week you have the opportunity to see the horses in person or even try out the ridden horses! In case you miss it, don't worry because we are always happy to welcome visitors. Get in touch with us and we can set a date for your visit!
