The powerful and compelling young mare, Dannina Ice Z comes from the forgotten damline of 1.60m level Cold as Ice Z, which produced many exceptional horses, such as the leader of Zangersheide’s Judy-Ann Melchoir’s 1.60m level Nations Cup winner As Cold As Ice Z, Antartica Z (1.60m), Ziberia Z (1.45m), Nino Ice Z (1.45m) and more.

Crown Z, who shares the legendary dam of Comme il Faut, Ludger Beerbaum’s 1.60m level Olympian Ratina Z, has given top horses beside reaching the highest levels with Christian Ahlmann and Judy-Ann Melchoir, like: MTM Reve du Paradis (1.60m), Rocker d'Ysieux (1.60m), Terre du Banney (1.60m), he is the sire of many GP and World Cup level horses. With him as sire of dam, the damline of Dannina has been pushed to elite level.

The sire for Dannina has been selected based on power and modernity. D’Aganix 2000 Z is the first ever foal of the one, who is set to be one of the very bests: Dominator 2000 Z, since at insemination he wasn’t even an approved stallion! D’Aganix Z, the stallion who has the out-and-out Zangersheide blood with the 2022 LGCT GP of Hamburg winner, Dominator Z as sire, Aganix du Seigneur Z as sire of dam and Andiamo Z as sire of granddam. The young stallion is currently clearing CSI5* 1.45m courses and is set to be the next great partner of Christian Ahlmann. With him, Dannina Ice brings a forgotten damline and an upcoming stallion together, with a spark to be the next in the line of many world-class talents of the showjumping scene.
