ABOUT
Need for Speed’s pedigree is one for the books. His elastic movement, powerful canter and focus on the job at hand comes from the winner parents:
Oh d’Eole has competed at LGCT 1.60m level for several years with great Olympians, such as McLain Ward, Kevin Staut, Gregory Wathelet and more. Known as the fastest horse on the circuit, she has won GPs all over the world: Shanghai (for two consecutive years with two different riders), Lyon, Bourg-en-Bresse, Barcelona, Magna Racino and Spruce Meadows. The damline of Oh d’Eole isn’t shy of result either, with horses like Noble des Bruyeres (1.60m), Jiva (1.60m) or Ambrisio d'Alcy (1.60m).
The sire of Need for Speed also has quite a few famous relatives to list. Nabab De Reve was the best Belgian-bred horse of all matches of the Samsung Nations Cups and helped Belgium win the bronze medal at the World Games in Jerez de la Frontera. The spectacular stallion has jumped at the highest level on the international circuit with Philippe Lejeune. He is one of the best stallions of European breeding history due to his spectacular production of high-level sport winners and approved stallions: Glock’s London (1.60m), Vigo d’Arsouilles (1.60m), Kashmir van’t Schuttershof (1.60m), Querly Chin’s Walnut de Muze (1.60m), Candy (1.60m) and Equador van’t Roosakker (1.60m).
